Best Twitter Ad Networks of 2010

Finding ad networks for Twitter can often be tough, especially since they are so new and relatively untested. I’ve done the leg work of evaluating the current Twitter ad networks and put together this list of the 4 best Twitter publisher networks.

SponsoredTweets

This is the most popular and my highly recommend Twitter ad network. They have big names on here like Kim Kardashian, as well as Jeremy Shoemaker who gets paid $470 per tweet. Payouts are quick, and you get prior approval for every tweet you make and oftentimes can write the tweet yourself.

Magpie

Magpie is a slightly different kind of network than SponsoredTweets in that they are a hybrid CPA/CPM Twitter network. You can get paid based on the number of people who see your ad (CPM) and also based on how many signups you get (CPA). You obviously get paid more for a single signup that simply showing the ad.

But the way it works is you tweet a minimum number of offers per month, and are paid regardless, so it’s a great steady stream of income.

Get on board with Magpie and start raking in the cash.

Twittad

Twittad is one of the newer networks, but looking at their traffic they are well on their way to start competing with the big boys. What I like about their network is you can actively search for ads to run, and opt-in for them as opposed to SponsoredTweets where you have to wait for an advertiser to contact you, which is great if you’re looking to get started making some cash.

Join Twittad and see which ads work for you.

Ad.ly

Ad.ly is definitely the most polished network out there and I believe will be the overall winner in the Twitter space. So that being said, it’s a great time to join them on the ground floor and watch as their network of advertisers grows and you can reap the benefits.
