Apple really is the king when it comes to closed-environments, while Google has long touted itself as the ultimate open-source, free, ubiquitous platform. Will this play out in the phone world? Looking for the best iPhone killer if you’re not on AT&T? Luckily Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint have attempted to keep up with the technology arms race and offer some kind of iPhone-3g-killers. Personally, I’m on T-mobile and really want to dump my contract and jump onto AT&T, but with the recent price hike, I’d be looking at a ~$110 cell phone bill while I’m sitting at like $65 now.
