So are you looking for a way to buy and sell drugs without all that legal mess? Then this is the ticket to impress your friends, and pick up chicks. The download is available through the iTunes store.

Unfortunately, it is still in closed beta, but there are some early screenshots available.

The objective of the game is to become the most successful drug dealer in your neighborhood. Don’t expect gun fights; you do this by selling high (no pun intended) and buying low.

However, the game isn’t interesting only because of its controversial content; the authors claim it’s an entirely new concept of mobile gaming called – somewhat jokingly – LBMMOG: Location Based Massively Multiplayer Online Game. This means that you’re actually playing against other live players, and everyone’s location is real, and determined through iPhone’s GPS.

Unfortunately, the game is currently in early, closed beta stage, but, according to the developers, a free beta version will be launched in the next couple of weeks and distributed through the iTunes App Store. I’ve no doubt that we’ll see more and more games which use the iPhone’s location and networking capabilities to create massive multiplayer worlds in which you can immerse on the go.

iPhone accessories are what makes Apple so great. The iPhone has a natural after-market accessory market, and on this blog we cover all of the best, latest, iPhone accessories. So we recently saw that the OLO Computers team may be coming out with a companion to your iPhone. Now we have a desktop version of the same concept that brings additional connectivity to your iPhone or dumbphone.

Yanko Design has brought us yet another amazing concept-deisign that highlights what the world would be like if designers ruled the world, and I wish they did.

The iPhone dock would allow you to bring the extended functionality of the phone onto a larger browsing surface, so you can interact the same way you would with your desktop.

Ultimate iPhone Desktop Experience

iPhone Accessories

The iPhone has some of the best accessories on the market. People blog about the latest and greatest, unlike the Microsoft Zune. The Zune has no such market, and that’s really what makes the Apple products so great and why the iPhone is such a huge success, especially in the aftermarket accessories world.

I just love looking over the greatest in Apple innovations through glorious photo galleries. The next generation iPhone 3G is here. We have some great mockups of future possible Apple-tech. The iPhone 3G Killer is with us.

This device is more a cross between a European line than an Apple model, but I can definitely see the iPhone 3G resemblance

The new iPhones I hope will take more of a tactile feel, because that just can’t be replaced with a glass screen.

What do you think — is this the future of the iPhone or how about a full-keyboard, is that still a dealbreaker?

iPhone 3G Killer Behold!

The iPhone 3G will have a next generation, so what will that phone look like? Will it be more of a gPhone variant with a physical keyboard or perhaps it will be a double-sided touchscreen. And what will it be called? The iPhone 3G v2? The iPhone Pro?

What do you think? Is this an iPhone 3G Killer? Maybe it’s just a little better than the EDGE iPhone or perhaps even the Android G1? Either way, bring on the great design!

A mini-computer that slides in between the iPhone and the 13″ Macbook Air. It would have a 9″ screen, full-keyboard and be able to offer the portability and ease of use that the iPhone brings. Thankfully, Olo-Computer is bringing an iPhone laptop …coming soon.

When is the actual netbook going to be released? There aren’t many details. Is there an elaborate hoax? Perhaps, but the mere premise sounds like a good one.

The iPhone has a 624mhz processor, fast enough to run a limited-base machine, and given that the iPhone can only run one app at a time, there shouldn’t be much of an issue with lag or performance detractors.

Would You Buy an iPhone Netbook?

I think I would definitely try out the Olo-Computer laptop/netbook. Finding a name for this device, however, is another issue.

The device would have to be sold for around $200 for me to want to make the purchase, given that the iPhone is now positioned at $199. Having the netbook would allow me to ditch my laptop, and bring only my iPhone. I currently use my iPhone for data, email, twitter, etc. so not having access to the phone while talking wouldn’t be that big of an issue for me.

What Features Should the Olo-Computer Have?

So obviously it has a smaller form-factor, 9″ screen (or so), full-keyboard. Noticeably, no trackpad, however.

I think it would also have a battery that doubles to power the unit and charge the iPhone at the same time. Would it have some sort of storage? Perhaps an SD slot, but nothing more is really necessary.

What else should it have? Aside from the battery, that’s really my biggest gripe about the iPhone. I guess it should have a headphone port, mic, usb charging slot or perhaps a spot to plugin your iPhone charger.

Olo-Computer A Win?

Will this device be a success? Possibly. For manufacturers trying to play in the Apple space, there are very strict design and ease of use rules that need to be adhered to to satisfy Apple users.

If the look and feel isn’t there, it won’t cut it. If Apple doesn’t buy in, they’ll find some way to disable it. Ideally Apple will look at this device moreso as a speaker set for their iMacs than a true competitor to their Mac line.

Sorry, we do not want to accept your money for our new T-Mobile G1 smartphone.

That was the message T-mobile just sent to me after I tried to buy their new Google Android phone.

Why is it that we’re always seeing this giant retailers be so unprepared for the obvious hype and excitement surrounding new product releases? T-mobile has the new handset upgrades going through their main T-mobile.com site, which may or may not be a good idea, considering this site will probably go down forcing the rest of their casual users offline as well.

On the day of the iPhone 3G release, there were some people who showed up to the AT&T store to buy a new phone, pay for their plan, etc. completely oblivious to the iPhone launch. These customers, were also turned away, with money in hand.

How many times do we have to see this? If there are consumers who want to buy something, you can not put any barriers in their way, and downtime is a big no-no in the online space.

All of these designs were originally mockups created by users and some of them look very similar to the products we actually saw released, which I think is really cool. So what of the mockups we’ve seen in this runup around going to be the one?

Finally, it seems like the hardware and software is finally coming around, and we may see an iPhone knockoff perhaps in the 1st quarter of 09. Then again, with the iPhone being refreshed every year, this phone may seem a little dated by the time it finally rolls out.

Here’s the video of CEO Jack Wong using the Meizu M8:

Like I had said in an earlier post on Apple’s 3G iPhone, AT&T will eventually release an un-lockable version of the iPhone — one with 3G capability as soon as this summer.

Currently I’m running my iPhone on T-Mobile as well as my girlfriend’s phone. With T-mobile’s cheaper rates and myfaves, it just makes economical sense for us to keep our phones on their service. Also, the fact that AT&T has really bad service in my area, AT&T has the cards stacked against it in Gainesville.

That is, however, until the 3G iPhone comes out and you can browse the web, run slingbox, listen to music, and do pretty much everything the iPhone should have been able to do from the beginning.

The iPhone definitely has its struggles when it comes to battery life, so hopefully the 3G iPhone will solve these issues as well as add some nice hardware updates and fix that ridiculous headphone port, whew!

Will you be upgrading your iPhone to 3G?
