I hope you all had a chance to make it out to this Summer’s 2008, “Ikea Summer Sale,” but if you haven’t, I wanted to share my shopping list with you. In total, we spent $1300, including everything for delivery and all, and for Ikea, that may seem like a lot of money, but we populated our entire new apartment.

I don’t know about you, but I take every opportunity I get to take part in even walking around an Ikea store, let alone getting to purchase merchandise on sale! This sale begins tomorrow, Thursday and ends on Friday. For me, who is going to be driving down Friday night, wish me luck ayee, here’s the fine print:

For those of you who don’t have an Ikea near you, you’re missing some desperately great furniture ..
For half the cost of typical European design, Ikea introduces the Swedish aesthetics into our homes apartments and makes us feel hipper than our neighbors still shopping at Rooms 2 Go.
