In October, Michel Horton learned he had won two automobiles in separate contests.

He picked up his newest ride Friday. It’s a 2008 “Bon Jovi Special Edition” Saturn Outlook. The presentation took place at the Ed Bozarth Saturn dealership in Topeka. The entry also netted him a guitar and gold-plated Bon Jovi records.

But that was his second free vehicle. Horton was notified Oct. 5 he had won a Mitsubishi Lancer in a contest sponsored by Bic lighter.

As if that weren’t enough, he also won tickets to a recent Kansas City Chiefs game in another drawing.

Horton said rather than collecting the Lancer itself, he opted to take the cash-in value of $28,800 for the car. That’ll help pay the income tax and personal property taxes on his winnings.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Hours after a married congressman addressed a report that he had an affair with a former aide and paid her to keep quiet about, details of a purported tryst with a second woman surfaced.

Though Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney did not directly mention allegations first reported by ABC News, that he had been involved with the former aide, he issued a statement apologizing to his family but denying he’d done anything illegal.

Later Tuesday, a person close to his campaign told The Associated Press that Mahoney also was having an affair with a second woman around the same time.

I think prior to the Palin announcement, both sides were playing a pretty fair game, attempting to discuss the issues and stay away from the attacks that have been so common-come Presidential Elections. The Swift Boat dudes from 4 years ago and today Palin’s Troopergate, Obama’s Propensity for Weathermen, etc. etc.

This partisanship is really well highlighted in the political tshirts of the day. Below is a collection that really makes you hate the partisan politics that come into play on both sides and really just add fuel to this fire.

Craigslist is More Than Just For Casual Encounters

The bank robber had posted a job for a construction project and he needed a team of workers. He said they would be paid $28.50/hr but needed to be dressed in a “Yellow vest, safety goggles, a respirator mask… and, if possible, a blue shirt.”

The day of the crime, about 7 men arrived for the job. The robber snatched the bank money, ran past the awaiting 7 men, and quickly shedded his clothes.

In a bit of a guise, the 7 men stood as lookalikes, very similar to the plot of Inside Man and Quick Change.

Needless to say, this probably won’t be the last person to execute a crime via Craigslist, so be careful what you do.

I’m planning to go as some sort of themed-costume with my girlfriend, Stephanie, but I’m not sure yet what to be so I went scavenging the Internets for some costume ideas, and here’s what I found..
