Too often these days we are haunting by the horror stories of bad customer service: from the AOL customer who can’t seem to cancel their service to wounded vets having to pay back their bonus pay for not fulfilling their obligations. And after all this, it’s really a treat when you come away from an interaction with a business that leaves you delightfully happy and even amazed!

Here’s the message, edited to protect the innocent:

One quick tip- I have found that if you figure out how to help someone out first and then ask them to help you- this can be invaluable. For example, one guy in the network asked me to introduce him to a well known investor. The way he approached me was by offering to introduce me to XXXX XXXXX so that I could do an interview for my show. He secured the interview for me and immediately- I called the VC and said, “I don’t know much about him but what I DO know is that he can make things happen and he goes for what he wants”. The VC wanted to meet him and TWO awesome, invaluable matches were made!

So just a tip:)…If you need anything please let us know. My assistant XXXX XXXXX helps me stay in touch and she can be reached at XXXX@XXXXX.com. (We are working on getting her tied into my CLub E account as we speak!)…so just let us know!
