Does Your Startup Have a Value Meal?

I was just watching Jim Gaffigans Beyond the Pale and he started to talk about how great value menus are, because you just have to say a number and you get a ton of food. So as entrepreneurs how can we create a value meal for our companies?

Create a Value Menu for Your Company

A value meal isn’t about actually getting a value, because when we get the coke and fries that’s just additional profit for Mcdonalds. The sodas have the best margin, but thanks to brilliant marketing, as consumers we think it’s a “value”.

eBay does a great job with creating a value menu. You come into their store to sell your old watch. By the time you get out the door, you have added on a purple background, 3 pictures and a subtitle, which as we know since they’re digital is pretty much akin to that Coke you’ve added to your McChicken.

So how can we create our own value menus? Is there something of value you can give away for very little cost, and make upselling a “value” for your customer?

Let us know how you’re creating additional value for your users in the comments.

  • you sure don't make it difficult to locate vulnerabilities. you n00b bloggers are hilarious. you all think you're doing people a favor or maybe you're making a whopping $0.12 a month off all these fucktarded ads, the reality is, you're giving less informed people confidence in REALLY stupid solutions making them far more vulnerable to the vicious cycle of stupidness created by dumb fuck bloggers such as yourself.
