Whenever I feel like I’m not making enough progress with my company, I take a look at Flippa or browse around the web for really shitty sites that are absolutely KILLING it. Today I stumbled across http://www.codes4us.com/ a coupon site.coupon-site.png

So their site is horrible, they have a nice collection of coupons and such, but it’s nothing you couldn’t pay a 15 year old girl to update and pay her $100 a month.

So how much money do you think they’re making? Well, they’re getting more than 173,000 uniques per month. On one of my coupon sites, I’m getting about 16,000 uniques and I’m monetizing these people really well, making $.18 per visitor.

$15,570 per month

So if you take those numbers, and cut them in half, assuming codes4us isn’t monetizing very well, they are making $15,570 per month.

Is that enough motivation to get off your ass and start taking names and making a ton of cash? Yeah, me too.
