So How Much is a Frontpage Digg Really Worth?

After I had one of my articles on the frontpage of Digg this week, I finally have the final results in.

The story itself, 47 Best Pics of Apple Anticipation: Best iPod, iPhone, and Mac Concepts Pictured, was originally written by me about 3 weeks ago, but only submitted to Digg because of a Stumbleupon visit.

Someone had stumbled upon the page, liked it, submitted it to Digg, and here I am. I ended up getting a total of 826 diggs and here’s how I ended up on the Adsense front.

$110 in Adsense Earnings

Over the past week, I’ve seen a huge spike in my number of visitors and my subscribers in Feedburner has spiked as well. At any given time, I’m at about 74 readers on my Feedburner account (see the badge at the top of the homepage).

Blogging As a Fulltime Job?

While I don’t think I could become a full-time blogger, but I can see how this could be a nice bonus at the end of the year for those people who like to have a hobby.
