We just had a trip to St. Augustine beach which out of 40 employees, we only had 8 attend; and of those 8, we had expected around 15. This wasn’t really a result of us not having an organized trip, but rather some sleepy colleagues.

Prior to this trip, however, we spent plenty of time trying to organize responses and the like and Mobaganda would have been just what we needed.

Once you create your event, which you do with a single-click, you have a custom RSS you can watch and also a central email for everyone attending the event to reply-to.

Simplicity is great, but we still need the kitchen sink

We’re see a surge in products that are completely drop-dead-simple with TaskPaper for GTD and Presdo for iCal and Calendars.

But to be effective, we need to use each of these programs together, so does it make sense for them each to be housed in their own environments or is the MS Outlook approach better? Ideally, I’d say that smart choice is for Outlook and desktop portals to take incremental improvements like Xobni and just refine their overall experience.
