With the iPhone planning its 2.0 release in the coming weeks to days, we finally have a true competitor emerging for the iPhone 1.0!
After HTC originally released its Touch, it was welcome with mild-fanfare. It had a touch screen, 3G/EVDO capability, a decent WINMO interface, but it just wasn’t there on the design side. It looked like someone took a Motorola PEBL and expanded the screen to make it look like a boring, matte-finished knock-off of the iPhone.
