Fat Blogging Vol. 3: Make Eating Healthy a Game


This is the third volume of my fat blogging series, and I hope this has been helpful to some people out there …

So to keep these tips quick and to the point, here we go:

Say you out with your friends for dinner, and being the informed health enthusiast that you are, you know the healthiest choices on the menu.

So as your friends go around the table ordering the fried, sugared, glazed, and buttered items, consider this a game where each time your friends choose their meal, consider them raising you, putting you in check or putting you in 4th and goal on the 1 yard line.

I know it sounds stupid, but whatever you have to do to get the psychological mindset to order a healthy item is worth it.

Then, once you’ve ‘defeated’ your friends, start looking around the restaurant to see if you can be the healthiest eater in the room.

Honestly, eating healthy is about 1) feeling good about yourself, 2) looking better, and 3) rewarding yourself, and if you can’t reward yourself with that piece of chocolate cake, might as well get some self-satisfaction out of the whole thing.
