Who would have thought that there could be a browser better than IE 7 ?!??!
All kidding aside, Flock is actually better than Firefox AND Safari. I’m personally going through browsers as often as I go through phones, and hopefully have finally settled on a browser that suits my on-the-go personality and lifestyle.

Flock integrates seamlessly with Blogger
Through their built-in blog editor, you can easily post blogs right from your browser. No more bookmarking the tab and blogging for the Blogger website.
You can also use their web clipboard to post pictures, links you’re going to use, videos, and pretty much anything you need for the post.
Flock allows me to keep tabs on twitter, facebook, and flickr
Through their people media bar, you can login in to the majority of your favorite social applications including Facbeook, Flickr, Twitter, Xing, etc.
I’d like to see them add in support for LinkedIN, but since they are built on the Firefox platform, we should see them opening up the development side to allow a lot more 3rd-party additions really soon.
Flock does not crash and hang like Firefox
Even the newest Firefox version 3 has the same “memory leak” issue. I had actually switched over to Safari for this very problem, but was constantly having to switch back to Firefox to view Google applications, and a number of pages wouldn’t format correctly even in the newest version of Safari.
Flock displays all the same pages as Firefox
Luckily, Flock can support all of my favorite websites just as Firefox does, and it doesn’t cause my computer to constantly freeze and force me to close that damned Firefox “not responding” application.
Flock does have some problems
- Flock does not have all of the social networks
- I would like
- The bookmark bar displays icons, and if they’re not transparent, they have a white background and look horrid
- You can’t import bookmarks from Firefox
- Random bugs appear, and since this is only version 1 (as opposed to FF ver 3), occasionally I have to reload
Overall, I’m very happy with Flock and highly recommend you make the switch, you won’t regret it.
