So apparently a Massachusetts-based firm read my last blog post, because they have developed a soda that allows the user to customize the flavor.
Consumers press the appropriate buttons to create different flavors from a common base, such as cherry vanilla cola or raspberry tangerine lemonade, or get even wilder with aroma and food coloring options.
In addition to being able to customize the flavor, customers will also be able to have a matching label to go with their creation.
This breakthrough will allow drink manufacturers to save money in the future by only having to produce one kind of labeling. And I’m sure once this technology is better perfected, the manufacturers will probably be able to only use one kind of packaging as well. Heck, why don’t we just get over this whole food thing and just move to the all-inclusive meal pills.
This is just one of the steps towards our society finally living up to the Jetsonian model predicted 50 years ago.
