Startup: Mowser releases mp3 music download and search for mobile devices

Mowser has released an mp3 music download service for mobile phones today. The product is built on the technology behind Seeqpod, which is turning out, it’s working with a lot of partners to disseminate its information.

Seeing that they were recently sued by Warner Music, this might be an attempt by them to bring more people into the mix, and more people to be affected if their service goes down. It’ll be interesting to see what actually happens to the Mowsers, Songerize and such that have all taken on Seeqpod as their back-end.

Hopefully we’ll see Warner and Seeqpod emerge from this lawsuit with a deal in place that allows Seeqpod to still make money, and give Warner its fair share.
