Looks like some of the work I’m doing here at Grooveshark is actually paying off, at least in terms of media exposure. Grooveshark worked with GatorNest on a research project where we brought in Masters students to help us conduct some market research for Grooveshark. They did a great job for us, and as a result, Florida Trend featured us in their story on businesses working with colleges for marketing and related service, here’s an excerpt:
When Gainesville’s Grooveshark, a web-based music-sharing business, needed market research to validate its hunches on how members viewed the service, it turned to University of Florida business students. The students worked on the project as part of a two-credit graduate class organized by GatorNest, an experiential learning program run by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UF’s Warrington College of Business.
Any other companies that are working with college students with good results?
