Save Time By Storing Your "About Me" Information

I sign up for about 5 sites daily on the average, and in the effort to make sure all my tracks are covered, I’m always completing all of the profile fields, so this means I’m typing in my birthday, sex, and phone number all the time, which is pretty much unavoidable. Luckily, I have a great resource for my “about me” section — I pull it right from my blog! Your blog should be the focal point of communication with your public-self, so why not put your about me section on the most visible place to find out information on YOU!

In case you don’t know or haven’t read the text on the right, here’s my about me:

Hi, my name is Andrew Wise and I’m VP of Business Development at Grooveshark.com. I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a BSBA in Marketing, and am living in Gainesville, FL with 5 other employees and my lovely girlfriend in a 6 “bedroom” condo. Shoot me and email and let’s see if we can work together.

Another tip when creating accounts is to use the same username for all accounts, I’m Andrewwise on Twitter, Delicious, Flickr, and just about any other site you can name, so be sure to add me next time you’re on.
