Even In This Recession, Google AdWords Refuses To Take My Money

So I’ve setup a second campaign in an attempt to actually have Google AdWords take my advertising money.

I setup my initial campaign months ago, and looking at it, there have yet to be any impressions on the campaign, so I decided to try a new campaign, and it’s been 2 days and still I haven’t been able to figure out how to let Google take my money.

So for a company worth 8,000,500 billion dollars, you think this would be a piece of cake for them…

AdWords Doesn’t Want My Cash

So in the meantime, I’ve acquainted myself quite well with Adbrite, and have been running campaigns for a couple months, with great success.

In an attempt to actually get my campaigns online, I tried the “opportunities for improvement” link, which did help me make my ads a little better, and gave me more keyword targeting, but it didn’t let me know what I need to do to turn the ads online.

Instead of fixing my keywords, the campaign optimizer should have checked if my ads are even running and made that the first priority. With businesses, the goal should be to maximize your possible revenue, and this is even more important during this recession.
