Facebook is the #1 site on the web, but you’re not taking advantage of their advertising platform. It’s the Wild West when it comes to Facebook, and those of us getting on the ad platform now are making a killing. Here’s a tip I wanted to share with you to get a killer campaign.

On Facebook ads, you can target pretty much any demographic: Age, Sex, Interests, City, Birthday, etc. So it’s pretty obvious that if you’re selling sports equipment, you should target people who like …sports.
But how you really make money on Facebook is creating super-targeted campaigns that give you the highest CTR and as a result, the lowest CPC.
When you’re starting a new campaign, the trick is to leverage the data you already have on your website.
The screenshot above shows my goal conversion rates in Google Analytics, and I’ve broken it down by State.
In my Facebook campaign, I created campaigns targeted each specific state, and since I know the people from that state already like what’s on my site, my conversion rates are going to be amazing for every dollar I spend on Facebook.
I can take this a step further and target down to a city level. I may only be targeting 500 people, but I know pretty much all of those people are going to click, and buy my stuff!
