The GetPeek site just launched late last night and there are only a couple of Peeks available for sale. Unfortunately the blue and pink versions have already been sold out, but the grey version is still available.

Peek is a new approach to the cellphone market and to email in general. The device can only do one thing, receive emails and send emails. No calls, no contracts.

You buy the phone from GetPeek and they bill your credit card every month for service. The service actually piggybacks on T-mobiles data lines (a la MVNO) but you don’t have to deal with T-mobile, ridiculous service taxes, outages, etc.

I placed my order earlier this morning, after receiving an email from Amol, I believe their CEO. He’s had a real personal connection to all of the promotions they’ve been running, and I’m excited for the launch of the product and the future success of his company.
