Email is a set-it-and-forget-it type of thing, where you can create a chain of 10+ email autoresponders to deliver your marketing message to any new customer. I just signed up for the Urban Outfitters email list, and the first email they sent was a mixtape of 25 songs, for free, that I could download immediately from iTunes.

Most of you don’t have free music you can give away, so here are some ideas for giveaways:

- A free eBook on your industry
- A coupon code for free shipping / $ off
- A free consultation with you or your staff
