Best AdWords Ads
My goal in writing ads is to sell stuff. Sure, it’s great to get visitors to my website, but if they don’t convert, then it means my campaign is costing me more money than it’s making, so let’s talk about how to write ad copy that sells.
You have to educate your potential client as to what they will find when they click on your ad. Are you talking about your selection on the website, but make no mention of ever purchasing? If you advertise your site for window shoppers, that’s what you’re going to attract.
Your ad should have a clear call to action in it, whether it be:
- Sign up for our newsletter
- Shop now and get $20 off
- Buy this cosmetology case for only $69.99
- Get free shipping if you buy now
This is going to result in a slightly lower CTR since you will only attract people looking to buy, but in the end this will increase the amount of sales you get.
Here are a couple examples of ads I’m using that work:
Purchase – Call to Action
