AdWords Guide: Tips for Long Tail Keyword Research

Once you’ve got an AdWords campaign setup, and you’ve learned how to write ad copy that sells, your next step is to optimize your campaigns and find keywords that 1) help you sell more and 2) cost you less.

Long Tail Keyword Research

One of the best places to find long-tail keywords are by looking at your current Google Analytics account for your site.

Customers are searching for and finding your products right now, so you should capitalize on these keywords and insert them into your AdWords campaigns.

To pull up your report, go to Google Analytics, click on “Search Keywords”, and then search for the main keyword in your campaign.

For My Salon Tools, I pulled up Kamisori and here was a selection of some of my long-tail keywords (more than 440+ of them).
